The EU, in the framework of its project “Implementation of the Trade Part of the Association Agreement EU-Central America (EUCA Trade)” implemented by the Technical Assistance provided by AESA in Consortium with E&Y as part of a digital series, held the second Trade Talks, this time on “Sustainable public procurement”.
The event gathered EU and Central America trade stakeholders to debate and exchange best practices on developing sustainable public procurement in Central America, giving better access to EU companies to public procurement opportunities benefiting from the EU- Central America Association Agreement.
Other topics covered include Public-Private Partnerships as a new formula for sustainable economic development, the European Investment Bank strategy in the region and a review on the results of the last EU-Central America Association Agreement Committee.
