These tasks are performed by following some major priorities:

• Building effective linkages at EU DGs/national/ regional levels;
• providing high quality rural development expertise and facilitating, informing and encouraging productive debate and progress with regard to the priorities identified for the EN RD;
• developing efficient and customized services and provide access to knowledge to both established actors and newcomers.
