Rural Development in the Province of Esmeraldas (Ecuador)

Description of the project and Services provided:

The overall objective of the project was to improve the living conditions of the population of a peripheral and depressed area of the Country.

The project included 5 main objectives:
• Improvement of living conditions
• Improvement of production and trade
• Safeguarding of natural resources
• Attention on women's issues
• Support and strengthening of civil society

The services provided were:

• Planning, management and supervision of all the activities of the program
• Coordination with Institutions, governmental and non-governmental organizations
• Specialist technical assistance in different sectors.
• VET
• Technical, administrative and financial management of the program
