In July 2017, The Belgian Technical Cooperation (ENABEL) and the European Union signed a delegation agreement for the PARERBA (Project to Support the Reduction of Rural Emigration in the Peanut Basin) Project implementation.
The general objective of PARERBA is to fight emigration in the Senegalese Groundnut Basin by increasing economic opportunities for rural households and young people, as well as by supporting the creation of sustainable jobs in the promising economic sectors of the Basin
As part of this project, the aim of AESA’s contract is to develop a watershed management plan located in the Keur Samba Gueye municipality.
